Professionally managed account offer

With this option, donors can recommend an independent investment advisor to provide customized investment management for accounts with balances of $250,000 or more.

  • Publicly traded securities

    An investment advisor may build and manage a portfolio using the full depth and breadth of Schwab’s investment options (subject to Schwab Charitable investment policies and oversight), including:

    • Stocks, bonds, and CDs
    • Mutual funds, ETFs, and notes
    • Socially responsible investments 
  • Alternative investments

    For our larger accounts, your advisor may recommend alternative investments, subject to review and approval by Schwab Charitable, including:

    • Hedge funds
    • Private equity
    • Venture funds
    • Socially responsible investments
