Sharing the wealth (Ellen)
For the last 16 years I’ve worked with a retired real estate executive, Ned Spieker. The Spiekers have always realized that their success, and their family itself are a blessing. So they’ve made a deliberate attempt to share this blessing with others. They’ve realized that others can always use a hand up.
When we were searching for a donor fund to work with, we kept hearing of the benefits of the Schwab Charitable Fund. And I saw how simple, logical and comprehensive the Schwab Charitable program is for us.
I execute the grant requests I’m given from Mr. and Mrs. Spieker and their family members. The Schwab Charitable program makes my day run very smoothly every time I have to make a request – from the initial research of a prospective non-profit, the setup, funds transfers, and the ongoing efforts to send the grants.
It’s an easier task that I can do much more swiftly. And it makes my whole day better, because I know that I can accomplish many more grant requests through this terrific system that Schwab Charitable has online for us.
It makes me smile to know that their efficiency is going to get these dollars to those charitable entities promptly and professionally. So I’m pleased to give Schwab Charitable my round of applause.
