Susan H. Heldman

Susy oversees Schwab Charitable’s financial and accounting operations and is responsible for developing financial strategy. Prior to joining Schwab Charitable in 2000, Susy worked in controller positions in the oil and gas industry in Southern California and held leadership positions at major non-profit organizations in the Bay Area. She contributes her skills to a number of charitable organizations, including serving on the boards of the Northern California Club of Mount Holyoke College and the Daraja Education Fund. Susy formerly served on the Finance Committee for the Alumnae Association of Mount Holyoke College and the board of the Calvary Presbyterian Foundation. Susy enjoys using her vacation time to volunteer abroad, most recently in Argentina, Thailand, Fiji, and New Zealand. She holds a BA in Latin American Studies from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
