Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz is President of Charles Schwab Foundation, a private, nonprofit organization funded by The Charles Schwab Corporation. She was appointed by President Obama to the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability, for which she serves as chair of the Partnership Committee, and sits on the Youth Committee. She is a national trustee for Boys & Girls Clubs of America and serves on the boards of Decker Communications and the International Women’s Forum Leadership Foundation. With her father, Charles R. Schwab, she co-authored “It Pays to Talk: How to Have the Essential Conversations with Your Family About Money and Investing,” and she writes a personal finance column called Ask Carrie, which appears on Schwab.com.
