Schwab Charitable Fund offers a range of investment alternatives for Charitable Gift Accounts. You can recommend investing your account assets among the following investment pools.

If you would like help recommending the appropriate investment allocation for your account, you may want to complete our quick donor profile questionnaire or view a list of sample investment allocation strategies.

Individual Investment Pools: (for donors who want to recommend a custom investment strategy by combining pools with specific objectives)

Asset Allocation Pools: (for donors who want to recommend a diversified investment strategy with one investment choice)

You may recommend the account’s initial investments on the New Account Application (PDF), and recommend rebalancing the assets among the investment pools at any time, either online, or by filling out the Update a Charitable Gift Account (PDF) form. For past performance, please review the Quarterly Performance Report (PDF).

Charitable Asset Management
If your account is greater than $250,000, you can select the Charitable Asset Management feature. This allows you to recommend an independent investment advisor to actively manage a customized investment portfolio for your account by investing in a broad range of securities, including individual stocks, mutual funds, and fixed-income products in any combination.

 

1. The Growth Pool is invested in Preferred share class holdings of the Schwab Market Track Growth Portfolio. Schwab Market Track Growth Portfolio mutual fund report card is for the investor share class. Preferred share class holdings are the same, but expense ratio is lower.
