Who We Serve
Your Charitable Organization Can Benefit From Our Services

We provide an efficient way for you to receive support from donors. Here's how:
- Our donors may establish a pool of charitable funds to recommend grants over time to organizations like yours
- We perform administrative tasks so that you don't have to, such as accepting and liquidating donated securities
- We send recommended grants to you in the form of checks, making contributions easier for you to process
Express Granting
Note that Schwab Charitable Fund does not accept grant proposals. Instead, our donors make recommendations for grants to charities of their choosing over time.Once a donor has successfully recommended a grant to your organization, your charity becomes part of our Express Granting feature, which expedites future grant recommendations from any of the Fund’s donors.
Given this process, please direct any solicitations directly to the donor, not to Schwab Charitable Fund.
Increasing Your Organization’s Visibility
Donors are increasingly active in their process of researching charitable causes. To help donors research charities, the Fund offers Charity Search online, made available by GuideStar®, which provides donors with helpful research into charitable organizations nationwide. GuideStar is an independent database, separate from Schwab Charitable Fund, and offers information on more than 1 million charities. We encourage you to review your profile regularly on GuideStar to keep your information up to date. For more detail or to update your profile, please visit www.guidestar.org.
Schwab Charitable is the name used for the combined programs and services of Schwab Charitable Fund, an independent nonprofit organization, and Schwab Charitable Trust Services, a limited liability company owned by Schwab Charitable Fund. The Fund has entered into service agreements with certain affiliates of The Charles Schwab Corporation.
