Recommending Grants

Once an account at Schwab Charitable Fund is funded, you may recommend grants of $50 or more at any time to any IRS-approved 501(c)(3) public charity.

Submitting a grant recommendation is straightforward and can be done through our online donor center¹. Moreover, once your donor-advised account has made a grant to a particular charity, you can recommend future grants to the same charity by using express granting, which pre-fills most of the required information for you.

If you do not have online access, you may complete a Nominate a Grant to Charity form and fax or mail it to us.
